Empowerment Circle Foundation (ECF)
We are founded by a group of South Sudanese young professionals, former workers of international NGOs, who recognized the need to shifting the reliance on inconsistent foreign aid by promoting sustainable, local solutions. The foundation is rooted in Central Equatoria State, known as the "breadbasket" of South Sudan due to its fertile lands and agricultural potential. Despite facing political and economic challenges, the area's vibrant social and cultural life provides a solid foundation for community-driven change. By leveraging local knowledge and fostering community ownership of projects, the foundation aims to ensure that improvements are durable and truly beneficial to the local population.
